Surrey Heath Netball Club
Fundraising - The Mall Camberley
As a club we have the opportunity to receive £5000 from the Mall shopping centre in Camberley as part of their ‘Local Champion ‘scheme. However we need EVERYONE in the club to help.
From next week whenever you shop in the Mall you need to save your receipts and on the way home, stop by the Mall information point (outside House of Fraser/Poundland) and show the receipts to the staff there to receive a token to assign to Surrey Heath Netball Club. Every £20 spent will entitle you to one token and the £20 does not have to be in a single transaction or shop but can be made of several smaller transactions. If you hold a Mall Card (which is free and entitles you to discounts in shops and cafes) you will receive double tokens. Further information can be found on the Mall Camberley website.
As we are competing against two other local clubs for this money we also need you to spread the word amongst your neighbours/friends/contacts/other family members so that we can get as many people as possible supporting our efforts. This isn’t going to cost you or them a penny, just a little bit of time and minimal effort to make a real dent in our fundraising.
Please take the time to do this (the scheme runs all summer) as the club is desperately in need of funds and this is a fairly effortless way to raise them!

FUNDRAISING EVENTS
The club is planning on holding a Quiz night on Friday 27th January. Thank you to all the members who have responded regarding this event & an emaill will be sent out on Wednesday regarding tickets with more details.
If you are interested and have not replied, please email either Patricia, Sandra or Ian for further details.
There will be a raffle on the night to help raise funds & also "Phoenix Cards" on sale (the club will receive 10% of every purchase).
SECOND-HAND SHOP
To help raise funds (and save money) we will be running a second hand kit shop. If you have any kit you have outgrown please hand it to Patricia or Sandra at training.
This will then be made available for others in the club to purchase as spares/additional training kit at a reduced rate.

- sandra parne : Well done to all the girls who played today in the Middlesex Tournament - I saw some nice netball in all the games I saw across the age groups. We finished with the Bees in third, Fireflies in 3rd (on goal difference only) and Scorpions in 2nd (by one point!) well done to all and a big thank you to the Surrey Heath Girls who umpired to enable the juniors to play and to Patricia who did lots of organising.
- Ellie Lamber : Sorry ellie won't be at training tonight - someone stood on her toe today that she hurt at the tournament and its bleeding a lot.
- Katie Lewis : Hello Patricia/Sandra/Emma, really sorry cannot get Katei to training tonight, am full of cold and feel dreadful. Sorry again. I have registered her availability for summer league. Debbie
